Creating Custom Character Sets
You can create and manage your own custom Character Sets as well.
When creating your own Sets, be sure to only include similar types of characters in the same set (for example, separating letters, symbols or numbers into their own sets). This helps Passify ensure that at least one character from each set is included in your passwords.
To create a custom Character Set:
- Tap the Passify menu icon and tap "Characters" in the menu, or when editing a Generator, scroll down to Character Sets and tap the list of assigned Character sets
- Tap the "+" button on the top of the screen
- Enter a name for the Character Set
- Enter each character for the Character Set without spaces and returns
- Tap the "Default" toggle if you want this Character Set to be used for all new Generators
- Tap the "Save" button
- If editing a Generator, Passify will automatically assign the new Character Set. Be sure to save the Generator.
